Syntax of the Command Line Interface

CLI\SYSTEM\SNTP>

Command Description Comment

server [IP address]

Specifies the IP address of the

SNTP server.

tzone [hours]

Specifies the deviation of the time

zone of the SCALANCE W744 ac-

cording to UTC (Universal Time

Conversion) in hours.

5.2.9 Fault State Menu Command

This page displays information on faults/errors that have occurred. You can delete

this information if you click on the Remove Fault State button.

If you operate the SCALANCE W744 as an access point, texts (for example Link

with some safe-ip client(s) is/was broken ) are also displayed here for the IP Alive

and Link Check functions. After clicking on the text, the SCALANCE W744 displays

a list with the individual error messages. You acknowledge each error message by

clicking on it. Acknowledged messages are cleared from the list. You can acknowl-

edge all messages at once by clicking on the text Acknowledge all errors.

fault [OFF]

Display the fault status and cause of

the fault.

You can reset the LED

and the fault status with

the command: "fault

OFF“. Ideally, however,

the cause of the problem

should be eliminated.

5.2.10 Load & Save Menu Command

Saving and Loading Device Data

Clicking the Load & Save menu command first opens a page with the current firm-

ware version. The HTTP and TFTP submenus allow you to save device data in ex-

ternal files or to transfer data from external files to the SCALANCE W744.
