Configuring the SCALANCE IWLAN Controller for the First Time

2. In the left pane, click Topologies. The Topologies tab is displayed.

3. In the Internal VLAN ID box, type the internal VLAN ID.

4. From the Multicast Support drop-down list, select the desired physical topology.

5. To save your changes, click Save.

Setting Up Static Routes

When setting up a SCALANCE IWLAN Controller routing protocol, you must define a default

route to your enterprise network, either with a static route or by using the OSPF protocol. A

default route enables the SCALANCE IWLAN Controller to forward packets to destinations that

do not match a more specific route definition.

To Set a Static Route on the SCALANCE IWLAN Controller:

1. From the top menu, click Wireless Controller. The Wireless Controller Configuration screen

is displayed.
