Communication to the TI 435 is through the Host Link Protocol in Master/Slave mode. The Operator

Station uses hexadecimal data protocol, not ASCII. Note that the data protocol and parity are set with

the TI programming software in the Auxiliary Function 26, Set Secondary Address. Standard

communication parameters for communicating directly with the TI 435 Serial Interface Port are shown

below.
