SIMATIC 505 PROFIBUS-FMS CP User Manual
To
derive the SIMA
TIC S7 address for a SIMA
TIC 505 variable, use the
following steps:
1.
Subtract 1 from the 505 address; (for example, V2, 1 becomes V1, 1).
2.
Multiply the 505 address by the number of bytes in the 505 variable;
(V1, 1 becomes V2, 1).
3.
Convert to “byte.bit” address; (V2, 1 becomes V2.0, 1).
4.
Substitute the 505 memory type for the corresponding S7 type;
(V2.0, 1 becomes DB256 DBX2.0, 1).
5.
Replace the 505 quantity with the S7 data type;
(DB256 DBX2.0, 1 becomes DB256 DBX2.0 WORD 1).
Figure
A-1 shows a few additional examples of how to derive S7 addressing
to access 505 variables.
