Basic Functionality

STO, Safe Torque Off

 Protection against unintended start of the drive

 The drive is safely switched into a non torque condition

 A fast continuation of the operation is possible, because the drive has not to be

restarted again.

SS1, Safe Stop 1

 Fast and safe monitored stop of the drive, especially at high inertias

 The drive ramps to speed zero and is then safely switched into a non torque

condition

 Works without encoder

SBC, Safe Brake Control

 Safe control of motor holding brakes which are active during th drive stillstand

 Prevents sagging of hanging load
